Mark Arens – Speaking to Your Business

American humorist and writer, Mark Twain, said, “Really great people make you feel that you, too, can become great.” That quote captures the essence of Mark Arens.

Mark is an adventurer and a highly successful business owner. His companies have generated over $125,000,000 in sales over the last 20 years. He has a vision for improving lives by introducing ideas and methods to help people want to be their very best self – whether at home, work or play.

Weaving thought provoking and personal stories into fresh new ideas, Mark inspires and teaches people how to live the abundant life that so many want. Mark delivers a powerful and pragmatic message that not only inspires, but gives practical tools to change lives for the better. He says, “Inspiration can only go so far. After that, we need perspiration and the right skills to make our ideas come to life.”

Mark spent 2½ years in seminary and has a theology degree from St. Thomas. Repeatedly honored as an owner of one of the top insurance agencies in the country, he has spoken nationally on relationships, relationship selling, personal integrity, self identity and effective networking.

As an avid rock-climber, instrument rated pilot and outdoorsman, Mark loves to push himself past physical and mental boundaries. Mark refers to his wife, Julie, as his best friend. Becoming a first time dad at age 47, he is now the father of two toddlers who are his new inspiration for life.

Mark says, “My biggest thrill comes when I’m told how I have positively influenced someone’s life. When people need guidance, I’m happy to give back from the abundant blessings I’ve had in my life.” When you have true abundant thinking as the cornerstone of your life, everyone around you will know it – and everyone you touch will want it.

The Incredible Benefits of Empowerment Speaker, Mark Arens
February 24th, 2010
If your employees seem to be going through the motions…if your company lacks a competitive edge…if everyone seems to be sleepwalking, your staff will benefit from this empowerment speaker.

What is an empowerment speaker? This captivating motivational speaker helps employees see their work through a new lens. He focuses on empowerment, which according to Webster’s dictionary means, “to authorize.”

Authorize Versus Motivate!
There’s a great deal of difference between mere motivation and actual authorization through empowerment. Many great leaders throughout history motivate their followers. Ancient generals motivated followers through the proverbial carrot or stick: the carrot, the spoils of war, and the stick, corporal punishment.

In today’s corporate culture, motivational speakers engage their audiences through emotional messages, and inspire them to action. Yet to what action? An empowerment speaker, on the other hand, authorizes people to tap deep within for their own motivation. Instead of temporarily revving up employees, empowerment speakers instill a deep sense of commitment in employees. This commitment in turn sparks creativity, engages employees in their work, and connects their work to a higher purpose for long-lasting results.

Soar To New Heights With Empowerment Speaker, Mark Arens
February 2nd, 2010
What if you could encourage your employees, your church’s youth group or your team to soar to new heights through an empowerment speaker? An empowerment speaker is different from motivational speakers. While motivation is fine, empowerment is key to long-lasting success.

Buying Into The Change
Motivation works for only so long. How many times have you been motivated to make a change, say, to lose weight, give up smoking, or take up exercise? Your original motivation may have been something simple, like a pair of jeans that no longer fit or a random photograph that causes you to do a double take at your double chin. Yet how long did that motivation last? For most people, the initial discomfort of realizing they’ve gained weight is easily overpowered by the emotional comfort of their favorite foods or simply the comfort of eating. Just as soon as the motivation came, it fled, chased away by the comfort of long-standing habits.

Now what if you could empower yourself to follow through on change? Motivation may be the key, the kick start, the trigger to change, but empowering is authorizing or deeply investing in the change. When people buy into change, they commit to it. And that’s where an empowerment speaker comes into the picture.

Why An Empowerment Speaker?
Like a motivational speaker, an empowerment speaker visits corporations, companies, groups and schools to impart a positive message of change. But unlike a motivational speaker, an empowerment speaker draws upon a wealth of time-honored traditions and personal stories to engage, inspire and connect their listeners to their deepest held beliefs and highest truths.
Mark Arens is an empowerment speaker who bases his message on psychological truths, personal testimony and Biblical-based truths. This threefold approach ensures that the message is truthful and time tested.

What To Expect From Mark Arens, Empowerment Speaker!
What results can you expect if you hire Mark Arens as an empowerment speaker to address your employees? Employees who participate in sessions led by an empowerment speaker report deeper engagement within their work. Their creativity flowers and unfolds, leading to new solutions to perplexing problems. As a result, they’re more productive and better prepared to think outside the box.

If your company needs a jump start…new ways of thinking…practical advice and motivation rolled into one…it will pay to engage Mark Arens as an empowerment speaker.
